Round 3 at Angel Fire Resort, New Mexico
June 2nd-3rd.
We have worked with Angel Fire Resort and we have exciting news about the room rates. Angel Fire Resort is willing to offer the following rates for our racers:
- Standard room @ $66 per night plus tax. (Normal room rate is $112 per night!)
- Upgraded room @ $ 86 per night plus tax.
This offer is valid for 5/31/12-6/7/12 only. Take advantage of these rates and save the money by not hauling the camper.

We are on the backside of the mountain! The trails are incredible but the camping isn’t as easy. There will be camping on the backside but you will be camping on a ski slope. It will be difficult to get perfectly level but it can be done. There is a small area that is flat and level and it will be first come, first served for that area. The parking lots on the front side can be used for camping. You will not be able to ride your bike to the backside for ANY reason! If your bike is street legal that will be the only exception. Please do not jeopardize our race because you do not want to load your bike in your truck and drive it back. You will not be allowed to go through our gate fee area if you are riding your bike on the public street to get back to the race site, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Food will be offered on Saturday and Sunday at the starting area so you don’t have to go to the front side for breakfast and lunch. Dinner will be available at the local restaurants on the front side. Angel Fired Pizza is a great place to stop and get some food and beer. They are located next to the gas station shopping center at the intersection of the highway and the entrance to the Ski resort.
Have you gotten your Fly gear yet? You can win Fly bucks just for racing with the Webe/Fly racing
contingency program. Support us by riding with Fly. We will also enter everyone who signs up for the contingency program into a drawing for a free season of practice and a free season of races for the 2012 season!
We are going to start working on some new sections of trail at Pajarito! A big thanks to Myles Cartelli in Los Alamos for his help. It’s great to see the support we get from fellow racers and riders. We have moved the race up one month to help get out of the rainy season so make plans to race on another ski slope July 7th-8th!
