Prospectors MC Pulled it Off: When planning for the 57th running of the Goldrush Enduro (this year running under the Qualifier format) the Prospectors MC could never imagine that they would have close to a foot of snow come key time! The snow fell all night long and through out race day, turned into hail and snow and never quit! Members had spent countless weekends and hours scouting and laying new trails in the hills of Anza California and almost NONE of it would see a single tire tread on Sunday. The 50 Mile, Tecate-esque event had been cut down to two 3.6 mile loops, more then half the event workers were snowed in on the other side of the valley, the road into and out of the Ranch had been closed for several hours to be plowed and the Ambulance was barely able to make it... but it still went off and riders still got more then they bargained for!

Hunqvarna's Cory Graffunder made an appearance at the event with the news of the terrible weather and was able to post the fastest times on the loop at close to 11 minutes flat both laps taking the win at one of the toughest, shortest Enduro's to date. D36's Toby Atkins would come in a close second showing that he had what it took to keep up in the white stuff as it turned to mud and slop by the end of the day. Coming in a solid third overall was MSR's Michael Allen aboard his trusty YZ 125 even suprising himself! "I really didn't even expect to do well. I just went out and pinned it and thats it... awesome!"
