GNCC heads to Powerline Park
Located in St. Clairsville, Ohio the GNCC circuit makes it's next stop for round eleven of the season. Powerline Park will bring some challenging terrain including woods, elevation change, mud, high-speed, rocks and the usual GNCC specialties. Going into the weekend it's going to be a battle between XC1's Paul Whibley and Kailub Russell who are nearly neck and neck for the points lead. But the one to watch will be Honda rider Thad Duvall who not only won the last GNCC round in Unadilla, but just returned from the ISDE in Germany where he was one of the top overall riders. He'll be out for redemption.
In the XC2 ranks, Steward Baylor is desperately trying to maintain his points margin over both Jason Thomas and Andrew Delong who shined after Baylor's wrist injury and moved up in the chase for the championship. Currently Jason Thomas sits just -10 points from Baylor, while Delong is back just -3 points off Delong.
With the forecast calling for rain on Sunday, it's definitely going to be a mudder.
