Analytics: The Mammoth GNCC

Another great GNCC moment was made this weekend in Kentucky for The Mammoth GNCC. We saw a new winner, a rough course and more great action from the East coast.

XC 1 Class

Race Winner: Rory Mead
Podium: 1) Rory Mead 2) Charlie Mullins 3) Paul Whibley
Holeshot: Paul Whibley
Most Laps Led: Rory Mead (5/6)
Major Crashes: Nothing major, but the FMF Power Point hillclimb proved to be a struggle for some including Bach, Mead and Whibley. The new Kentucky venue was said to be even rougher than Florida, which until Kentucky, was one of the roughest courses on the circuit.
Major Incidents: Kailub Russell didn't even hit the podium this round, and Rory Mead shot out like a rocket for his first-ever GNCC win. Bach also took 6th on his new YZ450, that he only put 2-hours on beforehand. And Thad Duvall's wheel broke his 4th place streak.

XC 2 Class

Race Winner: Steward Baylor
Podium: Steward Baylor, Andrew Delong, Jesse Robinson
Holeshot: Cody Gragg
Most Laps Led: Steward Baylor (3/6)
Major Crashes: Ryan Lojak lost it on the first turn and ended his race. Again, the FMF Power Point hillclimb man-handled throughout the ranks and everyone took a turn struggling to to the top.
Major Incidents: Unusual for Baylor, he was all over the place and struggled to get a cushioned lead like the most the other rounds. Andrew Delong earned his podium finish and showed Baylor he's hungry for the top box. Jason Thomas had to be pulled up the hillclimb and found himself falling in the ranks off a great start, taking a mere 7th.
